Rouge Park Trail Volunteers
Lead the way to a great day on the Park's trails as a Rouge Park trail volunteer. We offer opportunities for walk leaders, photographers/videographers and trail ambassadors on our team.
Are you outgoing, friendly and inviting?
Are you a regular trail walker looking for a new challenge?
Are you an experienced leader looking to explore new trails with others?
Do you want to share your love of the outdoors with Park visitors?
Let us know! We generally train new teams of volunteers to hit the trail in late Summer and early Spring.
Full training for the appropriate volunteer role will be provided, with your minimum 1 year commitment.
An orientation walk is happening January 29th to learn more about being a Trail Volunteer.

Rouge Park Photo/Video Volunteers
Capture special moments in Rouge Park that showcase our rich natural and cultural heritage and our exciting visitor experience opportunities.
Shoot images of the Park’s guided walks, stewardship events, landscapes, wildlife and plant life
Enhance, improve and increase the Park’s inventory of images for promotional and educational use
Share your expertise with other volunteers and visitors
Strengthen your own shooting skills
Appropriate training will be provided, with your minimum 1 year commitment.

Rouge Park Outreach and Promotion Volunteers
Gain new experience in the field of conservation education, improve your public presentation skills and expand your horizons with a new personal challenge as an outreach and promotion volunteer. We are looking for outgoing, knowledgeable people to help us extend our profile and share our messages. A specific time commitment is asked. Training will be provided.
Lead interpretive and specialized hikes for schools, naturalists groups, etc…
Represent Rouge Park at local community events
Give talks/presentations for summer camps
Lead hikes with guest experts to share ideas and information on conservation

Help us make Rouge Park's family friendly cycling adventure come to life and showcase Rouge Park to visitors from all over the GTA.
Spend a fun filled day in a part of the Park you probably haven't visited yet.
Volunteer as a team of friends or family... or come solo and meet new people!
