Across from Twyn Rivers Area, you can visit our park memorial where we have honoured friends and supporters of Rouge Park, as well as those who contributed to the natural heritage legacy of the area that eventually became protected in the Park.

Driving Directions
From Highway 401:
Exit Meadowvale Road northbound. Turn right at Sheppard Avenue East, left at Twyn Rivers Drive. Park at Twyn Rivers Area.

From Highway 407:
Exit at Markham-Pickering Townline southbound. South of Steeles Avenue East, road turns into Scarborough-Pickering Townline. Keep going southbound. Turn left at Finch Avenue East. Turn right at Altona Road southbound. Turn left at Sheppard Avenue East, parking lot entrance for Twyn Rivers Area will be on your left.

  • The edge between forest and meadow attracts a variety of plant and animal life.
  • A memorial sign honouring those who made contributions to Rouge Park during their lifetime.
